''Marvel Team-Up'' is the name of several Comic Book series published by Marvel Comics . The series features, naturally enough, two or more Marvel Characters teaming up for whatever reason. Usually, but not always, teaming up characters that would not otherwise interact, i.e. members of different super-teams. The original series featured Spider-Man for most of its run (and was discontinued in 1985 to make way for the '' Web Of Spider-Man '' book); the second series originally featured Spider-Man but later switched over to Namor The Sub-Mariner with #8. A quarterly series titled ''Spider-Man Team-Up'' fulfilled much the same purpose of the original title from 1995-1997. The third ''Marvel Team-Up'', written by Robert Kirkman , ran between 2005 and 2006 and frequently featured Spider-Man, but he did not appear in every issue. This volume of Marvel Team-Up often reintroduced lesser-known Marvel characters that had fallen into obscurity; for example, in the League of Losers storyline (''Marvel Team-Up'' (vol. 3) #15-18).
