Marshall is home to Marshall Middle School which is unique among the schools in Fauquier County because it follows the schedule for the elementary rather than for the secondary schools. It has a different bell schedule as well. Marshall is also home to the One Room School House PS17 which was the last one-room to close in the 1960s.
