}} Mansueto "Onyok" Velasco (born June 26 , 1972 ) is a Filipino boxer from Bago City , Negros Occidental . He competed in the Men's 48 kg (light- Flyweight ) category at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta , and took home the silver medal, the Philippines' only medal of the games. He is the Twin brother of Roel Velasco , winner of the Olympic bronze in the 1992 Summer Olympics , who is also a light-flyweight. Before this, he was one of the three Filipino boxers who clinched gold medals in the 1994 Asian Games held in Hiroshima , Japan . He later had an unsuccessful career as a comedian, appearing in several ABS-CBN sitcoms. Onyok Velasco appeared on Several TV shows in tandem with famous celebrities such as Bong Revilla , Richard Gomez , and Inna Raymundo . |
