Louise 'Lolly' Allen (previously '''Shannon Louise Carpenter''') is a fictional character in the Australia n Soap Opera '' Neighbours '', most notably played by Adelaide Kane from January 2007 to June 2007 . Previous actresses in the role were Tessa Taylor ( 1994 ) and Jiordan Anna Tolli ( 1994 - 2001 ). CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY Louise is the daughter of John Allen (played by Adrian Mulraney) and Cheryl Stark ( Caroline Gillmer ), though it was long believed that she was fathered by Lou Carpenter ( Tom Oliver ). She thinks of both as her father. Lolly was taken away from Lou in 2001 , following the revelation that John was her father. She returned to Erinsborough to see Lou in 2007 , now fifteen years old, and began stealing and lying as a way to get attention. It was revealed that her stepmother, John's wife Sandy (Catherine Hill), had been physically abusing her. When Lou found out about this, he kicked Sandy out of his house, threatening to tell the police about the abuse. It was later mentioned that John and Sandy were separating. It was strongly hinted that Lolly had feelings for Ringo Brown ( Sam Clark ); however Ringo, who was dating Rachel Kinski ( Caitlin Stasey ), was unaware, and came to think of Lolly like a sister. Lolly began dating Rachel's brother Zeke Kinski ( Matthew Werkmeister ). However, soon after this she began to miss her siblings, and confided in Bree Timmins ( Sianoa Smit-McPhee ) that she wanted to leave Ramsay Street to go back to her biological family. Both Lou and Zeke both gathered that this is how she felt, but tried to keep her in Erinsborough by using emotional blackmail. However, both Bree and Harold Bishop ( Ian Smith ) made them see sense, and Lou bought both himself and Lolly two plane tickets to Moscow to visit Lou's girlfriend, Mishka Schneiderova ( Deborah Kennedy ), before she would return back to her family.
