SECONDARY 4TH GRADERS Barbara "Bebe" Stevens Bebe Stevens is Wendy Testaburger 's best friend, helping her in situations such as getting Stan back from substitute teacher Ms. Ellen in the episode " Tom's Rhinoplasty ". Bebe is usually seen with Wendy. When she is seen, she usually is talking with Wendy about clothes, crushes, etc. Bebe is more likely to pursue these topics first; nevertheless, she, like Wendy, seems to regard these things as with a grain of salt, as in " Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society ," where she wishes to get reduction surgery on her tiny breasts, rather than have boys like her for shallow reasons. She apparently aspires for a meaningful career, as a Lawyer or Marine Biologist , rather than growing up as a large-chested Dumb Blonde like her mother (even though she has no qualms about joining the other girls in behaving like a Stupid Spoiled Whore ). She fell in love with Kyle in " Clubhouses ", and tried to pursue a relationship with him, but decided that she couldn't take the "codependency", and started dating Clyde. However, in some episodes, she seems to still hold feelings for Kyle. Bebe wears a red coat with a gray collar, gray gloves, and alternately a green skirt or green trousers. Under her coat, she has been shown to wear a red sweater, as seen in " Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society ". Clyde Donovan Clyde Donovan (voiced by Trey Parker ) is perhaps most notable as the "second fattest" kid, next to Cartman (though he looks about the same weight as the other boys), and has a Nasal Voice . Clyde is a brown-haired boy who wears a burgundy jacket with blue mittens and light brown pants. Unlike many of the other children, he does not wear a hat. He is often in conflict with the main characters, especially Cartman. On several occasions, when things get surreal in the show, Clyde shows little or no interest. His original last name was Goodman, but in episode 811, " Quest For Ratings ", his last name was revealed as Donovan, it is also revealed in this episode that he only has one testicle. However, in the episode " Lice Capades ", he was referred to as Clyde Harris; this was changed to Donovan in later airings of the episode. In the episode " Mystery Of The Urinal Deuce " (Season 10) Mr. Mackey originally blamed Clyde for the feces found in the urinal. But His Parents came to school and revealed that Clyde could not have done it since he had a Colostomy at the age of five. Clyde has been a background character since the first season, and makes at least one prominent appearance almost every season. In recent seasons, he has been shown to have a group of friends including Craig, Token Black and a fourth random member from their class -- usually Tweek, Jimmy, Pip, or a miscellaneous background character. Their group is usually referred to collectively as "Craig and those guys"; Craig appears to be their leader. The main South Park characters seem to view them as rivals. He has a habit of crying during dreadful situations (See " 4th Grade " and " It's Christmas In Canada )." Clyde, like Kenny, is interested in sex and smart when it comes to the subject i. e. in the episode "Marjorine" when Butters (in disguise as a girl) says "getting my snootch pounded on friday nights clyde says"nice.". He is interested in girls, shown in several episodes, like in 'Treehouse' when he hooks up with Bebe. In 'Ginger Kids' Mrs.Garrison says that after lunch, Clyde can make his speech about 'lesbian cheerleaders' and in 'Make Love, Not Warcraft' he is seen reading a playboy magazine. Craig Craig wears a blue hat with a yellow ball at the top. He is in the same class as Stan Marsh , Kyle Broflovski , Eric Cartman , and Kenny McCormick . He is voiced by Trey Parker and has a rather nasal voice like Clyde Donovan , a fellow classmate. He has bad behavior, tending to Flip People Off , resulting in constant trips to Mr. Mackey 's office. Craig, however, constantly denies having done it, even a mere second afterwards; it is unclear if he Does Not Realize He Does It . It is also a family trait as shown in " Tweek Vs. Craig ". His entire family can be seen flipping each other off at dinner. In recent seasons, he has been shown to have a group of friends including , Pip Pirrip and Jimmy Vulmer ). Their group is usually referred to collectively as "Craig and those guys" and Craig seems to be their leader. The main ''South Park'' characters seem to view them as rivals. Craig seems to be particularly antagonistic towards them, as in " Quest For Ratings " where he opened a rival show (called "Animals Close-Up With a Wide-Angle Lens") on the school news channel, " South Park Is Gay! ", and " Good Times With Weapons ". He has even told Cartman to his face that he hates him in the episode Tsst . In Quest For Ratings he is told to get Castrated . He is seen without his hat in Lice Capades . Jimmy Valmer James "Jimmy" Valmer (formerly '''Jimmy Swanson'''), like Timmy , is physically handicapped by Muscular Dystrophy , but he wears Braces and uses crutches to walk. He is able to speak to people, albeit with a severe Stutter , although he sometimes inappropriately ends his sentences with "very much", and says "Wow, what a great audience" after telling a joke. He likes to perform Stand-up Comedy , with every joke including, "Have you seen this, have you heard about this?", in the fashion of Jay Leno . Voiced by Trey Parker , Jimmy's character is inspired by Tiny Tim Cratchit from Dickens ' A Christmas Carol , and Blair's handicapped cousin from "The Facts of Life." He is generally a popular and gifted student at school, and he is moral and knows how to be a friend. However, he is foul-mouthed and very competitive, even to the point of taking steroids to win the special olympics. Jimmy is also one of the few students at South Park who have lost their virginity. In the episode Erection Day , he was suffering from constant erections. When Butters told him that having sex would make him stop, he went to the rough part of town and had sex with a hooker. He became friends with Timmy after his first appearance, being the only one who can understand Timmy's utterances. They get along very well, playing together in a '' The Lord Of The Rings '' Parody , teaming up against Christopher Reeve in " Krazy Kripples " and competing together in the Special Olympics in " Up The Down Steroid ". Philip "Pip" Pirrip Pip Pirrip is an often-mistreated character, who is heavily based on the Protagonist of the same name from the Charles Dickens Novel '' Great Expectations '', even starring in Pip , a retelling of the novel. Trey Parker and Matt Stone hated the novel; the explanation that Dickens' Pip gives for his nickname is the same one South Park's Pip gives for his. He is an unpopular and awkward British Exchange Student who is frequently mistaken for being French , which often causes him to go into a rage. In one episode, during an Extreme Dodgeball tournement, The South Park Cows were playing against Chinese children, who had undergone intense, drug-enhanced training. When Pip had the ball, he wouldn't throw it until a member of South Park Cows tricked the Chinese team into slandering Pip by calling him French many times. Pip then threw the ball, and it richochetted off of all the Chinese players, effectively winning the tournament. Before coming to South Park, he attended Stratfordshire Primary in Stratford, London , and excelled in archery. Though a once prominent character, Pip's role declined due to the increasing usage of Butters . He is usually seen as a background character playing with the other boys. Timmy Timmy, voiced by , the word "shit", as seen in It Hits The Fan , or small phrases and he can say Jimmy, as seen in Up The Down Steroid . In the episode called " Fourth Grade ", right before he thinks that his wheelchair is going to blow up, he actually says; Please, help me. Timmy was originally described as being mentally retarded, but over time his character has become described less as such and more often as " Disabled ." In various episodes (such as " Up The Down Steroid ") he appears to be quite cognizant, intelligent and principled. However, his enlarged head may suggest that he suffers from Hydrocephalus . Upon meeting South Park's other disabled character, Jimmy , Timmy is shown to dislike him. In the first episode in which Jimmy appears, " Cripple Fight ", Timmy is intensely jealous of him and even tries to have him killed (by giving him a Parka that made him look like Kenny ). Later on, however, the two are shown as being friends. Jimmy is the only character that can actually understand what Timmy is saying. Timmy first appears in the episode " The Tooth Fairy Tats 2000 ." His scenes from that episode have little importance to the central plot, and Comedy Central originally wanted to cut Timmy out, due to the controversial nature of including a Mentally Handicapped character. Creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker , pushed hard for his inclusion however; their basis of Timmy was to show that, though Timmy was different, the other South Park children treated him normally. Originally intended for only one episode, Timmy proved so popular he was given his own episode, " Timmy 2000 ". In it, he is part of a successful band, singing lead for Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld, despite his limited vocabulary. During the episode, people complain that he is being exploited, even though he achieves extreme popularity. The message at the end of the episode, however, was that since Timmy enjoyed playing music, and people enjoyed him playing, there was nothing wrong with it. In the same episode, his parents, Richard and Helen (a reference to Helen Keller ), were shown to have the exact same condition as him, implying that his condition may be Genetic . His parents have abnormally large heads, like his, and they can only say their names. (As far as has been seen.) Token Black Token Black is voiced by Adrien Beard . In a satire on Racial Stereotype s, Token's family is the wealthiest of the families shown on South Park, leaving him to be mocked for being different. His name was revealed as Token Williams, this stayed the same until the season eight episode "Quest For Ratings" in which it changed to '''Token Black'''. (See Tokenism .) Since season six he, along with many of the other classmates, has been featured more prominently. Racism has also been a theme based around Token. Since the demise of Chef , Token and his parents are the only African-Americans in the whole town. Token, as revealed in "Christian Rock Hard" , can play a Bass line after Cartman told him he could, because he's black. This is one of the many racist stereotypes Cartman aims at Token in this episode, which causes Token, pushed to the breaking point, to severely beat up Cartman at the end of the episode. As well as playing instruments, Token also has a talent at singing, as revealed in the episode Wing . He sang for the Ms. Colorado Beauty Pageant and won $200. He eventually lost his money when he hired an agent and wound up serving drinks at Sylvester Stallone 's son's wedding. Token is also notable as the character that, aside from Stan and Kyle , is least affected by Cartman 's attempts at manipulation, probably as a part of his overall Coolness , and to the annoyance of Cartman. In the episode Raisins , Wendy broke up with Stan, and began dating Token, though this relationship does not appear to have lasted very long, as Wendy tried to get Stan to take her back in Follow That Egg! . In Free Willzyx , when the rest of the boys are disguised in blackface while they are freeing the whale from its tank, Token appears in white face paint. In the episode " Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride ", he is in the stands behind Jimbo and Mr. Garrison, however his face appears as that of a Caucasian . In Follow That Egg! Mr.Garrison gave Token a brown egg instead of a white one. Tweek Tweek Tweak http://www.southparkstudios.com/show/display_faq_search.php?section=2&id=9552&search_faq= is introduced during season 2 in the episode " Gnomes ", where he was put in a study group with the four boys. His name is taken from a Slang Term referring to recreational users of Methamphetamine , as well as hyperactive or dysfunctional people in general. After Kenny was killed off, Butters replaced Kenny as the fourth friend of Stan, Kyle and Cartman, but was considered too lame. In " Professor Chaos ", Tweek was chosen as the fourth friend of the main characters during a Reality Television spoof in which Kyle , Stan , and Cartman remove Butters from their group. He was a member of the group for five episodes in the middle of the sixth season (" Simpsons Already Did It " to " Child Abduction Is Not Funny "), after which he returned to his previous minor-character role after the return of Kenny. In season 7 episodes " South Park Is Gay! " and " Red Man's Greed " he could be seen, but didn't receive any lines. He is portrayed as a Hyperactive boy who has messy blonde hair, generally wears a grey-green shirt buttoned incorrectly, and dark blue jeans. Tweek is noted for his quirky mannerisms; he is always nervous and jittery and usually overdosed on Caffeine , leading to extreme Paranoia and hyperactivity. In addition, he claims that "I can't sleep... ever" (though he was seen sleeping in " Child Abduction Is Not Funny "). His voice is usually strained, and he tends to scream, "Oh God!!", "GAH! Too much pressure, I can't take it!!", or some variation of these. In the episode " Free Hat ", he appears to practice Fatalism . Also ironically, in this episode all events caused Tweek to be put in very stressful situations. Tweek's Parents run a coffee shop, and attempt to calm him using coffee; this has the effect of increasing his caffeine levels and worsening his mental state, however no one ever makes the connection because Tweek, like Timmy , has been incorrectly diagnosed with ADD , but unlike Timmy, actually shows reasonably similar symptoms to the disorder. In "Free Hat" one of Steven Spielberg's agents referred to him as "the kid with the cocaine problem". Wendy Testaburger |
