When Gorr was an Arts/Law student at the University Of Melbourne , she began working in comedy. After graduating she became an Articled Clerk with the Melbourne law firm Phillips Fox. She also performed with the all-woman cabaret group ''the Hot Bagels''. She has performed in a number of television shows including '' Elle McFeast Live '' and most recently as a co-host on '' The Catch Up ''. In 2001, a portrait of her called ''Excelle - Libbi Gorr'' by painter Margarita Georgiadis was entered in the Archibald Prize . In 2006, Gorr, who has always had a wealth of comedy material to draw from dealing with her weight issues, took over from Kirstie Alley as the spokeswoman for dieting company Jenny Craig in Australia and New Zealand . Gorr returned to television in 2007 to host the short-lived Channel Nine show, ''The Catch Up.'' The program, a revised version of the American program The View ran for only four months before being cancelled due to poor ratings. 1 Libbi also occasionally fills in for Tony Delroy on ABC Local Radio 's NightLife .
