The Legislative Districts of Masbate, namely the First , Second and Third Districts are the representations of the Province Of Masbate in the Philippine House Of Representatives . Masbate was part of Sorsogon , until it was granted its own representation in 1922 . It became part of the representation of Region V from 1978 to 1984 , and from 1984 to 1986 it elected 2 assemblymen at-large. In 1986 , it was redistricted into three Legislative Districts . 1ST DISTRICT
