The (), also known as or , is a private railroad that connects inner Tokyo to Kawasaki , Yokohama , Yokosuka and other points on the Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture . means Tokyo(東) - Yokohama(横'''浜''').

Founded in 1898, it is the third oldest private railroad company in Japan next to Kyoto Municipal (1895) and Nagoya Railways- Meitetsu (1896). It is part of the Fuyo Group (or Keiretsu ) and has its headquarters in Minato-ku , Tokyo.

Trains on the Main Line have a maximum operating speed of 120 km/h, making it the second fastest private railroad in the Tokyo region, after the Tsukuba Express .
