Salen was one of the animators who worked on the film '' Waking Life '', directed by Richard Linklater and produced with Bob Sabiston 's software. She has also curated programs at the Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater, Cinematexas, The Rotterdam International Film Festival, and the Walker Art Center on Machinima , the practice of creating animated films using Game Engine s. She is also one of the co-authors of '' Rules Of Play '', a textbook on Game Design , and the co-editor of the ''Rules of Play Anthology''. |
