Karla Grant is an Australia n presenter for the SBS 's program '' Living Black '', news and events concerning Indigenous communities within Australia. Grant was born in Adelaide to a Dutch father and an Aboriginal mother. Earlier, she hosted ''Aboriginal Australia'' on Channel 10 , a programme which was also directed towards Australia's indigenous community. In 1994 she joined SBS, originally as producer, reporter, director and presenter on the Walkley Award -winning programme '' ICAM '', SBS’s first Indigenous current affairs show. Karla Grant has three children with television personality Stan Grant , to whom she had been married for 17 years when he left her - very publicly - in 2000 to partner with fellow Seven Network colleague and sports journalist Tracey Holmes . |
