Information About

Karl Ravech

Like other ESPN anchors, Ravech has developed a series of personal catch phrases, particularly for describing Home Run s, including "Mike Cameron Yards" (referring to both Mike Cameron and Camden Yards ), "swing and a drive," "ding dong pitch dead," and "exit stage left/right." One of his most infamous lines was when he said, "Baseball needs another work stoppage like Alex Rodriguez needs to borrow 75 cents to buy a can of soda.", in reference to the near-strike in the 2002 season. Ravech is also a noted prankster on the Baseball Tonight studio.
