John Power (born John Timothy Power, 14 September 1967 , Liverpool , England ) was the Bass Guitar ist with The La's , who had success in 1990 with their Hit Single , " There She Goes ", and their '' Eponymous Album '' which reached Cult status. Power left The La's in 1993 to form Cast , with whom he sung, played Guitar and Wrote Song s. After four Album s and a string of successful singles, Cast split in 2002. Power went on to release a Solo album, ''Happening For Love'' in 2003. In 2005, it was known that The La's were reforming, with Power returning to his Bass duties. It is then unknown whether he would pursue further solo projects, or be a member of The La's full time. In October 2006 Power released an album entitled ''Willow She Weeps'' on the Tanuki Tanuki Limited Record Label , after the issue of the Limited Edition 7 Inch vinyl single - "Jumpin Bean" b/w "Willow Weep".
