Jim Wrinn

Jim is formerly an editor of '' The Charlotte Observer '', and spent 18 years with the paper, starting as a reporter there. Raised in the mountain town of Franklin , North Carolina , Wrinn attended Western Carolina University before earning a journalism and political-science degree at the University Of North Carolina At Chapel Hill .

Jim is also a co-founder of the Southern Railway Historical Association , and holds an engineer's license with the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer .
