Jennifer "Jenn" Kristen Peterson-Hind (born May 24 , 1980 , in Madison, Wisconsin ) is a cast member on the television show Hi-5 . At a young age, she loved to sing. Her parents had to make a rule that there was no singing at the dinner table because her constant singing annoyed her parents as well as her younger sister Melissa and younger brother Justin . She attended the University Of Cincinnati College-Conservatory Of Music where she met her husband, Tom Korbee . She has a BFA in musical theatre. In 2002, Jennifer auditioned for the children's show Hi-5 . She got the role of "Jenn" on Hi-5 (she plays herself) and flew out to Sydney, Australia. Her four castmates are Kimee Balmilero , Karla Cheatham-Mosley , Curtis Cregan , and Shaun Taylor-Corbett . Jenn's segment is Word Play. She and her best friend, Chatterbox (puppet) or Chats for short (voiced by Karla Cheatham-Mosley in Series 1 and 2 and by Yasmeen Sulieman on the 2007 tour), are always eager to learn new words. She is the American counterpart of Kellie Hoggart . ''Hi-5'' is now into its second season. Jennifer married her longtime boyfriend, Tom Korbee, in her hometown Madison, Wisconsin on July 1st, 2006. Jennifer's debut country solo album, ''Give a Girl a Reason'', was released on June 12, 2007. She filmed her first music music video in May 2007 for her first single, "Good Night Tonight".
