She was born and raised in , formed by bassist Gwynne Kahn, which did not include Pandoras' founder Paula Pierce. In 1986 , Finch joined L7 , for which she became known, playing with the band as a bass guitar player and vocalist until 1996 . She has since been involved in other musical projects, including the major label band OtherStarPeople and a stint in Betty Blowtorch , appearing in the documentary film Betty Blowtorch And Her Amazing True Life Adventures . Her latest band is called The Shocker , which played dates on the 2005 Warped Tour. In 2006 The Shocker released the full length album Up Your Asstray on Go-Kart Records . Currently Finch is producing a Ramones tribute record for the St. Judes Charity. The album is for kids and sung by kids with guest vocals and music provided by various stars of rock, pop and punk music. Her punk rock photography (1979-1995) was on display at the LA Weekly sponsored art show at Aidan Ryley Taylor Gallery, 1639 Vine Street, Hollywood, CA 90028 up until November 18, 2006. TRIVIA
