The show has many twists, for example:
- Chung Ching's son, Sing, is not his biological son, but turns out to be the love child of his wife, Winnie, who conceived Sing with Chung Ching's colleague/ best friend.
- Lai Siu is adopted and happens to have a twin sister, who separated with her when they were young.
- Kei Lam-lam is not the daughter of an executive, but happens to be the daughter and love child of the executive's wife and the family chauffer.
- Tai Po turns out to be another woman's (played by Michelle Yim) daughter, from a previous marriage.
