It was later covered by the American Pop Band The Beach Boys . It was released on their July 1964 album '' All Summer Long '' and it featured Brian Wilson and Mike Love on lead vocals. In the stereo version, Brian's vocals are in one channel and the rest of the group in the other. In 1993, two new versions of the song appeared on the Beach Boys' box set.
