  • Has a pet Poodle named "Leon-kun" (レオン君).

  • He is very close to his mother, and often praises her. Because of this, his fellow band members joked that he has an Oedipal Complex .

  • When speaking to his mother, he refers to himself as "Hiroki", instead of using the first person pronoun "I".

  • Before joining Kanjani8, he was in a band called V.WEST with Kanjani8 bandmates Shota Yasuda , Ryūhei Maruyama , and Tadayoshi Ōkura .

  • He is the pink ranger in Kanjani8's Eito Rangers.

  • He is very good at baseball, and once dreamt of pursuing a career as a professional baseball player, but his mother persuaded him to become a singer instead. In fact, she sent his application to Johnny's Entertainment, and gave him ¥500 as an incentive to go for the audition.
