Information About

Harringay Railway Station

Harringay railway station is a Railway Station in Harringay , North London . It is on the East Coast Main Line between Finsbury Park and Hornsey . It opened on 1 May 1885 {Link without Title} .

Trains run from the station southbound to outside these times, and northbound to Potters Bar , Hatfield , Welwyn Garden City , Hertford North , Stevenage and Letchworth , the "inner" suburban services. These services are operated by First Capital Connect , and use dual-voltage Class 313 EMUs , as these are the only units cleared to run to Moorgate (however, some weekend services may use Class 317s as these run to Kings Cross).

The station was once known as "Harringay West".

The station has no direct interchange to a tube station, however Manor House Tube Station is a moderate walk away. If same-station interchange is required, Finsbury Park, one stop southbound, has interchange to the Piccadilly Line and the Victoria Line .

Transfer on a single ticket is allowed from Harringay to Harringay Green Lanes , and some tickets have this as an explicit routing (eg Finsbury Park to Southend Central can be routed this way, changing at Harringay/Green Lanes and at Barking ).
