The Halifax River is a section of the Florida Intracoastal Waterway spanning the length of Volusia County , Florida , United States , connecting to the Mosquito Lagoon and Ponce De Leon Inlet at its southern end. Some cities it passes through are Ormond Beach , Holly Hill , Daytona Beach , South Daytona and Port Orange . There are approximately seven bridges along the river, including two Bascule Bridges . |
