Fishing with the use of mechanical devices such as bows and Arrow s, Crossbow s, and Spear s (excluding Firearm s) is permitted only in two accounts:

:# only in specified waters during the season set for game fishing.

It is unlawful to fish with Bait in waters designated for artificial flies and Lure s only. It is likewise unlawful to use live fish as bait, except live bullfrogs and crayfish caught in the body of water being fished.

Snagging protected Game Fish is prohibited unless permitted by the local commission. On the other hand, taking the young of unprotected non-game fish, crayfish, and yellow perch with a Minnow Net , Seine , or up to five traps, is permitted provided that the net or seine does not exceed four feet in length or width. The Minnow and Crayfish trapped should likewise measure less than 18 inches in Length or 12 Inch es in Diameter or Width .   • chasing fish down or upstream, in any manner
