Explosions in the Sky, often referred to colloquially as ''Explosions'', is a critically acclaimed instrumental Post-rock band originating in Texas , United States . They primarily play with a set of Drums and three Guitar s, one of which is occasionally a Bass .

''Explosions'' has become known for its elaborately developed guitar work, and its narratively styled
Instrumental s, as well as their enthusiastic and emotional live shows.
