The Eurovision Song Contest 1976 was the twenty-first Eurovision Song Contest and was held on April 3 , 1976 in The Hague . With Corry Brokken as the presenter, the contest was won by Brotherhood Of Man who represented the United Kingdom, with their song " Save Your Kisses For Me ".

Liechtenstein again attempted an entry into Eurovision, but as they had no broadcasting service yet, this was impossible.
The entry from Greece was greeted with controversy as it was about the Turkish occupation of northern Cyprus . The previous year Greece withdrew from the contest in protest of this matter.

Sweden withdrew from the contest, as the broadcaster Sveriges Radio did not have enough money to host another contest if Sweden won again. Therefore, a new rule was introduced that each partipicating broadcaster had to pay a part of the costs of the contest.

Malta withdrew from the contest for unknown reasons, but had selected Enzo Guzman with the song 'Sing Your Song, Country Boy' to represent them. The singer has confirmed this to be the case. Malta would not return to the competition until 1991.
