Eos Airlines is an Airline based in New York , USA . It operates all- Business Class services with a higher level of comfort than the major transatlantic carriers' business class and at fares lower than the majors' published business class tariffs. Thus it has been referred to as "economy First Class " . Its main base is Terminal 4 in John F. Kennedy International Airport .


HISTORY


The airline was founded in 2004 by Dave Spurlock , a former director of strategy at British Airways . The company was initially named Atlantic Express (not to be confused with the UK regional carrier Atlantic Express ) and changed its name to Eos in 2005 .

Eos began operations between New York and London Stansted on October 18 2005 . David Pottruck, former CEO of Charles Schwab, chairs a board comprised of industry specialists and venture capitalists. Eos' Management also consists of leading management such as Gil Morgan (ex- World Airways , ValuJet and Delta Air Lines ) and Eilif Serck-Hanssen (ex- US Airways and Northwest Airlines ).


DESTINATIONS


Eos Airlines currently operates a service between John F. Kennedy International Airport and London Stansted Airport , with two daily flights in each direction, and three on peak days.
