Elk is a fictional character from the ''.hack'' Video Game Series , one part of the '' .hack '' franchise. He is a Wavemaster and a member of the .hackers, the name given to those who helped Kite save '' The World '' during the Twilight Incident . Elk is shy and generally prefers to work alone. Initially, he will only join the player's party if Mia is currently present in the party as well. Eventually, he grows to trust Kite and the others. Elk's Wavemaster, a magic-using class within the context of the series, avatar bears a resemblance to Tsukasa 's from '' .hack//Sign ''. BIOGRAPHY One day while playing ''The World'', Elk encounters an Anthropomorphic Cat character named Mia , a Blademaster with purple fur and long Rabbit -like ears, lying in a field of Aromatic Grass. Mia finds herself mysteriously affectionate to Elk, and quickly becomes his first friend in the game. They practically become inseparable from each other, as they search for Aromatic Grass. .hack//Games Later, when Elk meets Kite , Elk becomes jealous of him because of Mia's interest in Kite's Data Draining bracelet. Eventually, Elk's jealousy wanes as he realizes that Kite has no interest in "taking Mia away," and they become friends. Mia then begins her fatal transformation into the sixth Phase , Macha, which he and Kite both witness. In the end, Elk becomes a pivotal and important character. .hack//G.U. See Also: Endrance In '' .hack//G.U. '', the character Endrance is created by the player of Elk, as stated in the .hack//G.U. Perfect Guidebook. He is a Hikikomori , presumably because of the deletion of Mia. He befriends a cat, which is later revealed to be an AIDA, and believes it is Mia. When Haseo defeats him in the Demon Palace Tournament, the AIDA cat is destroyed and Endrance hides in the game, depressed. Later, Haseo convinces Endrance to help him fight against AIDA, and Endrance begins to admire Haseo, even going so far as to tell Haseo that he will leave his room for him. EXTERNAL LINKS |
