The company was created in 1997 by employees of Borden Milk Products , which sold their condensed milk line.

Eagle Brand has been sold in Canada since 1899 and is now sold by broker/distributor Acosta Sales And Marketing Company (owned by Jacksonville, Florida based Acosta Incorporated ).

Eagle Family Foods Incorporated has made several acqusitions and changes to their product line:
