The museum is located in Clarksdale , Mississippi , USA , housed within a circa- 1918 brick building that was previously a Railroad depot. It was completely renovated in 1998 . The museum has been visited by many notable artists such as Eric Clapton and Paul Simon . The Museum also focuses on educating young people interested in learning to play musical instruments.
