PRIMARY GAME INFO

While in Custom Robo GX, you can either play within two different gameplay elements - role playing and action. Much like other games within the series, except Custom Robo GX is displayed in a 2D slide screen format. The gameplay is overall similar to its predecessors in that you are able to customize your robo in fashions similar to the previous games. However, unlike the past games, you battle your opponent in 2D, instead of 3D. However, there are some elements of strategy, such as being able to hide behind objects for protection. When higher stats are attained in this game, new capabilities for your robo will become present, such as being able to upgrade to a triple jump from the default single or double jump.

The exclusive Action-Chip within this version allows you to create an additional shield of defense or to expand on your various maneuvers. It is confirmed in this game that many upon many of combinations are present when it comes to your specific weapon. This combinational process however is strengthened even greater with the new Action-Chip ability.
