CCW administers the various Conservation Designation s, including a special one for Wales, the Special Landscape Area . Wales has three National Park s, five Areas Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs), and 10% of Wales covers many Sites Of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). About 70% of the Welsh coastline are Special Areas Of Conservation (SACs). Two important projects for identifying protected areas were Tir Cymen and Tir Gofal .
