He attended North Carolina State University and was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 9th pick of the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 1991 NBA Draft . He is one of three male NCAA basketball players with more than 1000 career assists. He played with two other teams, the Boston Celtics and the Washington Bullets .
