MILESTONES Milestones, including specific physical and mental abilities (such as walking and understanding language) are described in the article Child Development Stages . Milestones can be described as what a child accomplishes, such as shaking a rattle, this would be the use of hand coordination. You can also watch to see if the child can follow a toy that you are holding with their eyes, this would be eye coordination.
