COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS

A common misconception is that the two divisions are geographic. They are not. The North Division includes the schools with the smallest enrollments as of the time of the league's founding, while the South Division includes the schools with the largest enrollments. This is why Waukegan is in the South Division, even though it's the northern-most school in the league.
