HISTORY Following Call Aircraft Company's demise in 1959 , the A-9 design production facilities was purchased by IMCO and the aircraft was back in production by 1963 . IMCO was in turn purchased by Rockwell International in 1966 , which built it under its Aero Commander division before shifting production to Mexico in 1971 , under a Joint Venture there called AAMSA .
