As a competitive organization, BPA students compete against others from around the country with direct participation and interaction in business, career/job preparation and workplace abilities. In addition, BPA students also help with the local community through many volunteer projects accomplished throughout the year."'' BPA Motto: "Today’s students, Tomorrow’s business professionals" BPA EVENTS/COMPETITIONS Many different types of competitions known as events are included for BPA. Some of them are known as "Open Events". These are events that everyone is free to participate in are usually: Math, Business Fundamentals, Computer Security, Information Technology Concepts, and other open tests. Other events that you sign up for (Not open events) include: Global Marketing, Web Site Design, Keyboard Skills, Prepared Speech, Extemporaneous Speech, Spreadsheet Applications, Network Design, PC Servicing and Troubleshooting, Fundamentals of Programming, Computerized Accounting, Computer Network Technology, and Graphic Design Promotion.
