German dialects are already in use in Brazil as a result of the German settlement, made by Germans , Swiss , and Austria ns. These dialects were evolved by foreign borrowings. They were influenced by another German dialect, and other immigrant languages — especially Italian , Spanish , Japanese , and Brazil’s national language, Portuguese .

The most dominant spoken Brazilian German dialect is Riograndenser Hunsrückisch , a Brazilian variation of the Hunsrückisch dialect. But other dialects of German are also spoken in Brazil, such as:
