HISTORY

Formed in the fall of 1997, the Boston Demons have established themselves as one of the USAFL's premier clubs, winning consecutive national division one flags in 1998 and 1999. Former Melbourne Demons player Darren Louttit who became the Boston's first head coach, served as the initial liaison between his former and recent clubs. Under his guidance, the Demon's winning ways was evidenced by the numerous Revolution players and awards the club has garnered over the years. Boston was also the first club to build their own legitimate football field (180 yards by 150 yards) in Windham , New Hampshire .

Since their inception, the Demons have won numerous flags for divisional play in both the Northeast Australian Football League and the Eastern Australian Football League ( EAFL ).

THE NEW ENGLAND METROPOLITAN AUSTRALIAN RULES FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The Demons support a Metro Footy league with four teams playing a Round-robin style season. Teams consist of the Watertown Rats, the Brookline Killer Bees, the Cambridge Lobstermen (2003 Chowder Champions) and the Jamaica Plain Buffaloes (2004 Chowder Champions).
