BigPond Broadband is Australia 's largest Internet Service Provider and is Telstra 's brand name for consumer broadband services including ADSL2+ , Cable , Dialup , Satellite and Wireless Broadband (using EVDO and HSDPA under the Next G brand). All BigPond's connections are via the main Telstra Internet backbone. A different subsidiary of Telstra, Telstra Business Broadband , provides services for business such as Frame Relay , SDH , SDSL and ISDN services instead of BigPond. In November 2002 , BigPond's Group Managing Director Justin Milne was hired, headhunted from his position of CEO at OzEmail , a competing ISP. After Milne's recruitment, a new sales and support team was put together to run BigPond. Subsequently, Milne's wife, Dr Anna Cicognani, was hired in 2004 and became BigPond's Operations Chief.
