The village was constructed adjacent to local transportation and industrial infrastructure, including the Griff Arm of the Coventry Canal and the Stanley Brickworks. Despite increasing commercial and suburban development in the immediate vicinity, Bermuda Village is preserved by planning regulations as an "area of restraint", meaning that no major redevelopment can take place in the village itself. Its future would appear to be the centre of a thriving new residential, commercial and technological district in Nuneaton, given the development of successful new technology and business parks in addition to new housing in the surrounding area.
