Beno Lapajne (born June 10 , 1973 in Ljubljana , Slovenia ) is a professional Handball player currently playing for the national team of Slovenia as its Goalkeeper . He has taken part in many international events including the Athens Olympics in 2004. He started his career in the handball club HC Inles - Ribnica. He later played in clubs HC Celje (SLO), HC Pivovarna Laško (SLO), HC Gorenje (SLO), HC Prule 67, Ivry (F). Lapajne has won 7 Slovenian Championships and 8 Slovenian Cups and was Runner-up - European Championship (2004) . He joined the HC Zagreb in 2005. |
