Balham railway station is in the London Borough Of Wandsworth . Opened in 1863 , it was known initially as Balham and Upper Tooting. It is in Travelcard Zone 3 . The track divides two ways to the east of the station. Trains can go either way to East Croydon or West Croydon stations.
