Arthur Googy was a drummer for the punk band The Misfits . He was the drummer that was with the band for the longest, spanning two years: 1980-1982, and was present during the "Master Sound Productions Sessions" that led to the '' Walk Among Us '' album. He would tour with the band in several famous shows, many of which ended up on highly sought-after bootlegs. His contributions include the albums: "Walk Among Us", "Evilive" and "3 Hits From Hell". Arthur's work is also prevalent in "Collections I and II". He is the drummer for tracks 9, 12 and 13 on the album "Legacy of Brutality." "Die, Die My Darling" from the "Earth A.D." album is also attibuted to Arthur. He would leave the band due to personal differences with Glenn Danzig . It is said that Glenn fired Arthur over Arthur wanting another hamburger at a chain fast food place. Danzig made a huge fuss and as a result had Arthur removed from the band. After he left the band, Arthur Googy decided he wanted to promote a more positive message for punk rock and did so with the creation of his band called Antidote , by addressing the Nazi tendencies of punk bands during the time period. He still lives in New York and is very happy. He does not regret leaving the band and bears no ill will towards Glenn Danzig. DISCOGRAPHY With The Misfits
