AmericanConnection is a brand name used by three airlines and their Holding Companies to feed American Airlines 's flights at the Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport hub:

AmericanConnection is the name given to flights operated by independent carriers. The AmericanConnection carriers previously operated under a marketing agreement with Trans World Airlines as '' Trans World Express ''.

Together, the three carriers operate over 300 flights a day to 33 destinations. The AmericanConnection services are operated as an affiliate to the Oneworld airline alliance.

In March of 2007, AMR announced that RegionsAir would no longer operate as an AmericanConnection carrier. It was announced that Great Lakes Airlines would resume service to six of the nine cities that RegionsAir had previously served. The remaining three cities ( Cape Girardeau, MO , Jackson, TN , and Owensboro, KY ) no longer receive AmericanConnection service. AMR Press Release
