Three series were made. For series two and three the title was shortened to '' Preston Front ''.
Although the series was set in Lancashire, and most of the filming was done there, some scenes were filmed at locations in the Midlands, including the Black Country Museum . Cast members included: Colin Buchanan , Paul Haigh , Caroline Catz , Stephen Tompkinson , Alistair MacGowan , Adrian Hood , Kate Garside and Lucy Akhurst . |
