Aberdeen was a Burgh Constituency of the House Of Commons of the Parliament Of The United Kingdom from 1832 until 1885. It was represented by one Member Of Parliament (MP) , elected by the First Past The Post voting system. BOUNDARIES 1832 to 1868 As created in 1832, the constituency covered the Burgh Of Aberdeen , which was previously within the Aberdeen Burghs constituency. Together with Aberdeenshire , Aberdeen was one of two constituencies covering the County Of Aberdeen . 1868 to 1885 In 1868 the Aberdeenshire constituency was divided to create East Aberdeenshire and West Aberdeenshire .
