Europe to unveil its A1GP car in

Carlos Queiroz . The team's operations were run by CEO
Luís Vicente , manager of the
Fundação Luís Figo .
The main driver for the
Portuguese team was 2005
British F3 International Series champion
Álvaro Parente , who took part in all but the season finale, in which
Cesar Campanico drove;
João Urbano was the reserve driver.
Pedro Lamy had originally been appointed as main driver, but never took part in any race. The team manager was
Trevor Carlin , who put his
Carlin Motorsport team in charge of technical support. In the 2006-07 Season Portugal and Parente returned under the Astromega team and Parente proved that time out of the car did not affect him, as he finished in the points in Portugal's first feature race back.
