Pakistan was one of the most spectacular, with the A1 Grand Prix Car being presented in front of the
Lahore Fort , a UNESCO World Heritage site. President General
Pervez Musharraf was the star guest at the event, hosted by A1 Team Pakistan Chairman Arif Hussain and its Managing Director, Chaudry Salik Hussain.

Performance Racing,a Swedish racing team is running A1 Team Pakistan for the second season of A1GP.With five years experience in British F3, the team have recorded 15 pole positions, 12 wins and 64 podiums. The team have been consistent front runners and finished the championship in 2nd, 8th, 4th and 2nd. In 2006, the team’s drivers finished 3rd, 4th and 7th in the 2006 F3 National Class.
