Youth Conference, or YC as it is often called, is an annual Christian gathering at Rexall Place in Edmonton . Some 16,000 people attend this 3-day event, which showcases many Christian music artists and speakers. Usually YC is held on a weekend at the end of May or the beginning of June. YC2005, with the theme "Consumed", was held from May 27 2005 to May 29 . YC is organized by the Alberta district of the Pentecostal Assemblies Of Canada . After been held for several years at the Centrium in Red Deer, Alberta , the conference outgrew the facilities and moved to Edmonton in 2000. YC 2006 will be held May 26-28, 2006. Also this year the theme of YC is Tell the World. Various artists include: Newsboys, Barlow Girls, Audio Adrenaline, etc. EXTERNAL LINKS |
