GEOGRAPHY Wood is located at (43.498689, -100.480085). According to the United States Census Bureau , the town has a total area of 0.6 Km&2 (0.2 Mi&2 ), all land. Wood has been assigned the ZIP Code 57585 and the FIPS Place Code 72620. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 66 people, 30 households, and 18 families residing in the town. The Population Density was 106.2/km&2 (274.6/mi&2). There were 38 housing units at an average density of 61.1/km&2 (158.1/mi&2). The racial makeup of the town was 68.18% White , 28.79% Native American , and 3.03% from two or more races. There were 30 households out of which 20.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.7% were Married Couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.7% were non-families. 30.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
