The white-bellied duiker is a Duiker found in central Africa . Little is known on the ecology of the species, and only some information on habitat and diet is available.

The white-bellied duiker ranges in Cameroon , the Central African Republic , the Republic Of The Congo , the Democratic Republic Of The Congo , Equatorial Guinea , and Gabon (Wilson & Reeder, 1993), while it is likely to be exterminated in Uganda (East, 1996). Its distribution map was first obtained from Haltenorth & Diller (1980); the southern range limit was corrected to match the Zaire River, while boundaries for Cameroon, Congo and former Zaire were refined using country maps in East (1990), as indicated by Dr. R. East (23 June '97).

Primary or secondary forest are contradictorily indicated as preferred habitat. Also cited for gallery forest (East, 1990; Heymans & Lejoly, 1981; Stuart & Stuart, 1997; Haltenorth & Diller, 1980).
