WESTERN ALAMANCE HIGH SCHOOL -- ELON, NC

RECENT HISTORY

Led by head principal Ann Davis, Western Alamance High School obtained its title, "School of Distinction", in 2004. Set deep into the heart of North Carolina farm land, Western is home to approximately 1200 students, which means the high school is quite overcrowded realizing an original 900 maximum pupil capacity. Recently, a water purity scandal plagued the proximity and as a result, water coolers have been installed throughout the school.
